Pastor Walter E. Lattimore
Rev. Walter E. Lattimore, is a devoted husband to his lovely wife Apostle Carmen Lattimore and the proud father of six wonderful children, the grandfather of eleven and great-grandfather of two.  Rev. Lattimore was educated in the District's school systems but his most important education was received from his father, the late Rev. Walthro Lattimore, who taught him how to seek God. Walthro shared divine wisdom with his son and those teachings paved the way for God's work throughout his life.

After graduating from Howard University, he became a freelance designer, and received many awards and accolades in the fields of photography, illustration and graphic design.  His skill enabled him to work on the Apollo and Gemini, moon landings, contract projects for the mayor's office, Job Corps, Department of Education and many other private and state industries.  All of which enriched the visual arts classes that he taught as a professor at the University of the District of Columbia. He, like his father, trained others in the ways of the Lord and was commissioned by God to minister through Praise & Worship, instruct Sunday School sessions, and serve to minister to men of his local assemble.  After showing faithfulness in these tasks, he was further charged to pastor (along with his wife), Victory Church International (VCI) in 1993.  This church is a very fruitful ministry that has taken many evangelism trips both nationally and abroad to Africa, Europe, South American, and numerous other countries.  He teaches in Greater Works Ministries' bible college, Five-Fold Development Institute (a training center that tries, licenses, and prepares ministers for service).  Rev. Lattimore has had the pleasure of running several ministries within VCI that serve to strengthen, encourage, provide needed assistance, and facilitate the growth of the body of Christ; Kingsmen Foundation (a men's training & fellowship ministry) which is now headed by Min. Lawrence Patterson, Deacon Terry Strickland, Sr. and Trustee Timothy Morris and Faith In The Family Institute (Christ-centered family teachings and support).

Rev. Lattimore also enjoys participating in various projects in addition to his pastoral call such as performing in plays: most recently the acclaimed "A Choir Rehearsal", and "My Daughters Are Sleeping With the Same Man" (an account of the biblical story of Rachel and Leah) both written by his wife.  Secular productions "Trail By Jury" and "USA Highway One", by William Grant Still, numerous concerts, teaching & counseling in radio ministry, publishing news media and manuals on the subject of "victorious kingdom" living, and was also a long time member of the evangelizing singing group Genesis II which traveled the country.  He is also a member of many professional organizations

He is a teacher by heart and can be found spreading the good news of the Jesus Christ, whether in song, a helping hand, a passing conversation or at Sunday morning service. Just as the bible instructs, Rev. Walter Lattimore teaches the gospel in a special way… by example and those who know him are proud to have it that way.
